Foot Steps

I know most of you have probably seen this, but I wanted to post about it for those who haven't. Until about three years ago when my mom sent me this little excerpt I didn't know that my Grandpa Harrington worked in interior design! He was an amazing artist, soldier, father to 8, and grandfather to more than that..and an Interior Designer! I was overjoyed when my mom sent me this, and just think it is really special. It is cool to think I am following in his footsteps a bit, and its great to come from such a creative talented family.  I hope that if my grandpa were here today he would be proud of all my design accomplishments!!

Made me tear up! I know Grandpa would be proud. His talent has been passed down to his kids, grandkids and now the greatgrandchildren.

Erin,
You know gramps would be very proud of you. As all of the rest of us are.
A note though, grampa didn't like be identified as an interior designer. He thought everyone would think he was gay! Yeah, with eight kids no less. He was also so highly regarded in the industry that after he left Beaute Craft they put him on a retainer because some many salon owners were still requesting his design services. Uncle Ron still encounters people who knew gramps and still can't say enough about him.
